29 Mar Golden Retriever Portrait – Eve

Beautiful Golden Retriever, Eve, gained her wings shortly before she would have celebrated her 13th birthday. Her memorial pet portrait was commissioned as a gift for her owner by a close family member.

As an artist it is always both an honour and a tremendous responsibility to be trusted with the memory of a dearly departed dog or other sadly missed pet.

Eve’s portrait was drawn from reference photos showing dog and owner enjoying each others company, so the happy smile and bright eyes captured in this drawing hold a special significance for her family.
